Your information is only exchanged with the broker only when you accept a bid/ quote provide. There is no obligation once you accept a bid/quote, we encourage you to further negotiate once you connect with the broker.
How it all works:
MyRateBid is a platform that gets you focused and personalized mortgage and refinancing rates. The way we achieve this is by getting user to submit a RFP (request for proposal) for what they are looking for – Mortgage or Refinancing. The RFP consist of a few simple questions that gives brokerages a very good idea of what type of competitive and focused rate they can provide you. Brokerages know they are competing for you business and hence provide you with the best possible rates they can offer.
With three simple steps gets you the best focused and personalized rates:
1. Simply create a profile and submit a RFP by answering a few simple questions.
2. Review bids/quotes and accept the one that best meets your needs.
3. Accept a bid/quote and set up an appointment with the winning broker!
Within 24 hours of submitting a RFP you will be start receiving bids/quotes from brokerages, you will be notified by in-app notification and also by e-mail. Once you connect and set up an appointment with a broker, they will do further due-diligence to ensure that you provided appropriate information in the RFP and guide you through the mortgage or refinancing process.
MyRateBid also provides you with a mortgage and refinancing calculator that provides you with a good idea of your monthly or bi-weekly mortgage payments. You can also search for generic rates provided by brokerages.
